1."O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it has been prescribed for people before you so that you may attain Piety." Quran (2:183)

2. "He who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord.” Hadith Tirmidhi

3. "Every deed of man will receive ten to 700 times reward, except fasting, for it is for Me (Allah) and I shall reward it (as I like).”Hadith Muslim

4. "The death of a thousand worshippers is less serious than the death of one intelligent knower of halal and haram.” Umar bin Al Khattab

5. "Pray more often. For every prostration that you perform Allah will raise your position by one degree.” Hadith Muslim
